I moved from the Boston area to Iowa and back several times in my life and as such I have ended up becoming a Red Sox and Cubs fan. The Cubs play a lot of day games so I catch a lot of their games and cheer for them and then the Red Sox come on at 7. I see no contradiction. Tonight I enjoyed watching the Red Sox pound the Cubs. I cheer for the Cubs when I watch their games but there is no question the Red Sox are my team and if they play each other I am all for the Red Sox. Not quite the same as you were talking about but similar at the same time.

Best friends baby is in the hospital?

My best friend had her son 5 weeks ago...he was 3.5 weeks early. He was born through c-section as her labour wasnt progressing (just some background info) Anyways...she is at the hospital with him right now. He has been pretty congested and having trouble breathing. She took him to the doctor a few days ago and they told her the usual saline, suction, vaporizor, steam. Well today he stopped eating and was screaming non-stop so she went to emergancy and they are still running tests but they think he has rsv and pneumonia. So my question is...what will they likely do for him? How serious is this...like is it life threatening or should he be ok? I am just so worried and scared for her. I live really far away and have a baby of my own so I cant go and be there for her.

I'm 15 and have a Brazilian friend who gets in fights regularly and has trained in Hapkido for a number of years back in Brazil. I've been taking Taekwondo for 4 years and just started kickboxing and have been taking Qi- Kong for the past few months. Today we were just screwing around in cl as we clinched, then started hitting each other although I turned around to make sure the teacher wasn't about to come in. I took many hits and after people were taking about how he could beat my ***. I felt a sense of dissapointment because not only did I not fight to the best of my ability, but I felt I didn't show what I could really do. I'm wishing to start out in REI, but I partied a little too hard in my past and have terrible credit. I've matured alot since graduating college, but my past still haunts me financially. I work as a delivery driver and half of my money is from tips, which dosen't count towards my income. So I have bad credit, no capital, and a bad debt-to-income ratio. Would it be easier for me to just form an LLC and aquire investment properties through that entity? I eventually wanted to hold my future properties in an LLC for et protection and liability protection anyway.

Seeing as how your sister already wanted to see a therapist, and she wasn't forced into it, she must have something she wishes to talk about. Let her do it on her terms. I'm about 15. I've been writing since I was probably 11, and since then I've gotten progressively better with detail and all the points of good writing such as similes and metaphors. I love writing, and my teachers always tell me that they love my writing. My only problem is I get good ideas but I can never write at length. Cure for chigger bites?

To make a long story short. i went worm fishing with my family Sunday. My first mistake was wearing shorts, i've never worn shorts fishing before but it was hot out and we were only worm fishing. Mistake number 2 I stood in tall gr so i was out of the way of bikers who were coming up the bike path. Lol, babe you are exactly, to the "T" like me. Okay long story short, I had a crappy adolescent life and did drugs, got busted with Crack and had a choice, go to jail, or see a psychologist. I saw a psychologist for a year and she really turned my life around. Wanting to be a psychologist I attended UCSD ( I receive my diploma in the Spring) majoring in Psychology, specializing in Adolescent behavior and addiction. My psychologist too, turned my life around and I wanted to do what she did to me, help children going through troublesome times. First of all, NO NO NO NO NO NO you do not have to be rich to get an education. Especially with Obama as president you will most likely get financial aid to help you with your school (My room mate actually made money). If you make in the Bay Area usually the psychologists there make around 75 to 90k (Bay area pays the best in California so you're lucky!) If you really want to become a psychologist you are going to have to READ READ READ. College and grad school in general are all about reading. Research stuff that you want to know and when you get to college you'll cover the stuff you actually want to learn so it doesn't even feel like homework! Have you started taking your pills already? If not you should start on sunday if the doctor told you to start the puill on the sunday after your period starts which should be the 24th not the 31st. You should start from the beginning of the pack and not the sugar pills, you can take the sugar pills during your next period. You DONNOT have to wait for your period to be over, please do not listen to these other girls. You should start this sunday for sure. It is the sunday after the first day of your period. So even if you got your period on saterday you should start the pack the next day.

Ok, I get headaches everyday...Usually behind my eyes or my forehead and sometimes my temples. Never really on one side never really towards the back of the head. My head will throb If I bend to pick up something or move really fast...Im thinking its sinus, but my nose isnt stuffy and I have no fever, sore throat nothing. I deff feel pressure over the bridge of my nose. I CANT afford to go to the doctor as I would really need a CT-scan and have noooo insurance. My mom gets headaches alot, and my sister get headaches everyday too. Could this be hereditary??? I will have health insurance soon and thats when I plan to go to the doc but in the mean time. We'll see how the game turns out. Both offenses are very strong. Neither defense is all that great statistically. The Colts were a little better over the course of the season. The Saints have given up a lot of yards and points defensively, but have been great at creating and taking advantage of turnovers all year long. I don't think the Colts will make a lot of mistakes though and do think they're more likely to win. Manning makes good decisions and gets rid of the ball quickly; I don't seem him getting beaten up like Favre was. I'd like to see the Saints win though. Dumbledore would win. I say this because,even though he doesn't have the Elder Wand, Voldemort can't use it to it's full power because he's not the true owner. It said that to obtain it, one had to kill its previous owner. Since the previous owner was Dumbledore, the owner must be the one who killed him. Not Snape, but Dumbledore himself because he plotted his own death where Snape was just a tool. I also say Dumbledore because he has like years on Voldemort, that may make him frail,but I don't know if that affects him magically. Plus, Dumbledore has the power of love on his side.

First off it will be a toll road. It will be built using tax-payer dollars but all the profit will go to a foreign company. It will allow trucks to cross from Mexico and these trucks will not be as closely inspected as trucks from companies is the US. It will take land from farms. It will divide some farms in half with no way for a farmer to get from one side to the other. Every person in all the states running up to Canada should be concerned with this road as the ultimate goal is to have one highway going all the way across the US from the southern Texas border to the Canadian border. If your computer didn't have the power connector, it isn't needed... there is an extra 4 pin connector for motherboard that require power or an attachment from it. The beep at the beginning of your boot process was an indicator of POST(Power On Self Test). During POST the computer test, the processor, the video card and the memory. Based on the fact it came on with you using another power supply, I do think the power supply was one problem, you may also want to check if u have the voltage switch on the right side(115V U.S. 330V International). Otherwise, since it shut off, I'd ume its a memory or processor problem. I'd check if the processor burned out or remove a memory module and/or replace it then try startin up the computer.

I didn't notice any punctuation or grammatical errors. The storytelling works very well here, you have my interest and I want to know more. That's always a writer's first goal. The only problem I see in that line is in the beginning the events seem a little out of sequence since "drifting in and out of consciousness" usually follows the point of the diagnosis rather than the other way around. I do have some other critique. There are several pive constructions in this piece. Don't write, "Days, weeks, months ped me by in a haze..." when,"Days, weeks, months ped in a haze.." is more immediate and puts us more firmly in your protagonist's head. Same with, " I knew that she was not my Gran" What you want is, "She was not my Gran." Not, "Feelings of dread and ..." but just "Dread and ...." Again, in the second paragraph, don't use "feeling" if there is a stronger word. In this case I suggest that she "knows" that "each moment was a privilege..." Then the last sentence may be too strong a foreshadowing of something to come. Be sure first that you want the reader expecting something rather than startling them with it. Either can work just let it be a conscious decision of yours. An intermediate approach would be, " I was certainly not prepared for what happened next." I think you have a good handle on this, especially, as I said, the storytelling aspect. Don't waste a lot of time either editing or seeking comment unless you have a complete first draft done. Get all the story out, then start fixing what needs to be fixed. A good writer's workshop would help you. I'll post the website below of the one I belong to as an example of what can be done. Good luck and keep writing.

I would rank RVD higher by a bit. Mostly because RVD has accomplished a bit more than Booker T and RVD is over with the crowd. Don't get me wrong, I also liked Booker T but when they did his King gimmick, it just ruined his character. But he always excited me whenever he wrestled. As for RVD i had always liked him when he was in the WWE and i still like him because he is in TNA. He never bores/bored me when he wrestles/wrestled. MY New HP Laptop Has Crashed... PLZ HELP!!!!?

I opened up a screener tp the movie True Grit and then Windows Media Player asked me to download a codec and I clicked yes. Then my machine restarted and after the login screen (windows 7) I get a blue screen of death stating something like DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS OR EQUAL and sometimes I get an additional error message indicating a problem with the STARPORT.SYS (I think that is what that message was or something similar). I just received this laptop a week ago and this HP device has already crashed. I did not make a recovery disk (I know, my bad)...what can I do about this? I tried bootin g up a win xp install disk and after it loads it gives me a BSOD and then crashes. I can't even get an older version of xp on this thing. Am I going to need to take it into a computer repair store? I can't figure out how I am going to fix this. Can they save the files on my hard drive?!?

im kind of confused; why is your rank so low if you have close to a 4.0? are you sure thats your rank (or thats your gpa?) if colleges are recruiting you, its a good sign, but i dont know if they start as early as sopre year; they dont know enough of your academic history to judge whether youll be right for their school. it really depends what these emails say. are they from an actual advisor or recruiter? and are they directly speaking to you in the emails or are they kind of general things the school sends out to younger students? i think its way too early for them to be showing interest, but i could be wrong. youll want to get your rank way way up to be looked at for top schools. i would double check with your advisor on both gpa and ranking.

I understand they have bulky stats. I understand they were great for their era. I do not agree they would have those stats or would be considered great if playing against todays players. If you take a slightly above average pitcher of today (example: Tim Hudson) and you insert him into the same years that Cy Young pitched, I believe the pitching award would be called the Tim Hudson Award. Same with hitting. Take a good power/avg. hitter of today like an Albert Pujols and you insert him into the Early 1900's era and he would have batted over .600 every year with a lifetime of 1200 home runs. The pitchers of past eras would not have been able to get him out. I am just fed up with the all-time lists being only past era player with little to no respect for current talent. First balance the equation, that is KEY for ALL problems like this. Once its balanced, convert 500mg to grams (0.500g) then convert grams to moles of CaCO3. Once u do that, relate it to how many moles of CaCl2 in the BALANCED equation. I think adding a 2 infront of the CaCl2 will balance the equation. If im right, it would be 1 mol of CaCO3 produces 2 mol of CaCl2, then convert that to grams. The whole process can be set up like this: 500mg CaCO3(10^-3 g/1mg)(1 mol CaCO3/ X grams per mol CaCO3)(2 mol CaCl2/1 mol CaCO3)( x grams per mol CaCl2/ 1 mol CaCl2). Hope you follow all the conversions i did and see how they cancel!

What do I do now that my 17 year old moved out cuz I wouldn't let him smoke pot?

He just started doing it in November. I found residue and calmly confronted him, he admitted and I told him it was not okay to do that in my house. The only punishment I gave him for all this, was he no longer gets rides to where ever he wants and a stern warning that his behavior was going to end up biting him in the , that he was going to get caught and I would not bail him out. Well, a week ago, I got a call from the school. He was expelled for smoking pot in the bathroom, having a pill bottle full of weed and 2 pocket knives. I expected he would be arrested, but there have been budget cuts in our area, so there was no Sheriff even available during school hours. He drew a line in the sand and challenged me by being so blatant. So because I love him, I responded. I told him no privilages of any kind for 10 days, after that, I would return all privilages except he could not see his friends for 10 more days, after that he could go back to hanging out with his buddies, but would have to consent to random drug testing, if he tested positive, I would repeat the previous restriction process. Long story short, he refused to comply, spent 3 days straight saying the most venemous cruel things to me such as he hopes I die of a heart attack, hopes God has relations with my backside( his exact words would be too graphic), called me the "C" word and prayed to Satan to help him. Kept arguing loudly, screaming the "F" word through the house, punching holes in the walls and frightening our 4 younger kids. So 3 nights ago, I let him go. He was invited to go live with his buddy and his parents and grandparents. They all live in a nice big beautiful home, have successful lives, and grow and smoke pot every day, as it is their "chosen lifestyle" I feel devastated. Like my little boy has been stolen from me. Not only by these people, but drugs, just as I have been robbed of other relationships. I know he's not my little boy anymore, I know he said all those things to hurt me..but some words punch a hole through your heart. He could have done all those things and moved out without saying he hoped I would die and calling me the "C" word... I feel heartsick at losing my son, yet relieved he is not here emotionally abusing us and continuing to turn our world upsidedown. What do I do now? Will I ever have a good relationship with him again? Will he ever truly be sorry for the cruel things he said? I have never, not even once, cussed at him or said I hated him or wished bad things upon him. Why would he be that extemely cruel when he came from a home where no on ever talked that way? Drinking distilled water?

Is it ok at all to drink distilled water? Well I sent my BF to the store a couple days ago to pick up 2 gallons of water. Well I already finished the first gallon of water, The other jug was still in the fridge well today I was thinking about the lid not being black the last time so i went to look at the jug and it freaking said distilled water! they have to drop the gas tank to get to the fuel pump. The fuel pump is in the top of the gas tank, if you run your gas low in the tank, for example just by ten or twenty dollars worth at a time, the fuel pump does not have enough gas in the tank to cool it. The fuel is supposed to help the pump run cool, I keep my tank full of chevron super unleaded wth techron this keeps the fuel system clean , I fill up when I get to half and keep my tank more full then empty. I use good quality gas so the fuel that goes through the pump and filter is always clean. Poor quality gas has water and other chemicals to boost octane, and running on E all the time puts a lot of crap in the fuel pump and filter. which will plug up sooner or later.A full tank and the techron in the gas helps keep deposits from forming, and keep the fuel injectors clean and the filter lasts a lot longer as well.

Why would I get pimples around my upper lip,not exactly on the lip all the time. They start as red painfull bumps, then turn into white heads ready to be popped, filled with white pus.
