Is there logous chromosome present in mitosis? (urgent!!)?

There will ALWAYS be logous chromosomes in a diploid genome, regardless of whether the cell is dividing or not. logous chromosomes are those that contain the same genes, giemsa staining pattern of the bands, same size, etc. That's why it's said that there are always two alleles per gene, one allele being on individual logous chromosomes. ;)
