Smoking By A Propane Tank?

Ok so last night i got off work and i was mad. I got a cigerette from some people and i went outside and smoked it. i was about 10-12 feet away from where they keep propane tanks(i work at a grocery store) I told my friend and he said they won't blow up, but i'm scared because i think they will. Please help.
