Dont know what to do/wear ! Helpp!?

im kind of stuck, because i stared my period last friday and my second day was the heavest.. but today during school i had a pad on and there was no blood, just brown stuff (discharge) so then i decided to change into a pantyliner a few hours after i got home and theres still nothing. its still white well the pantyliner has nothing on it. so to bed im wondering if i should change and wear a different pantyliner to bed or a pad? because what if i start to bleed and it messes up my pj's? im confused because i dont know if my period is over with and i shouldn't be worried or its just like taking a break or whatever.. so please help! because im going to bed soon and dont know what to wear! .thanks
