Please help me with fixing English grammatical errors?

For some rural people who live in poverty, striving to graduate from a tertiary school may be the best way for them to conquer poverty. Unfortunately, for diverse reasons, generally it is unattainable for them. To solve this dilemma, it becomes necessary for Universities, for both financial and academic reasons, to lower their standards of recruitment for these rural students.
